Mariah Help! I can’t stop listening to this album.
At first, everything was great. I was enjoying it on repeat as one does when they find new music. But now, it’s affecting my job, I can’t responsibly drive because it’s always booming in my car speakers, my roommate has kicked me out because I had it playing on blast 24/7, I’ve now been awake for 17 days because my brain does not want sleep, only Doom Scroll. The only way I can be saved is if you release more music. Please, help me break this curse! Favorite track: Immoral Compass.

Rapid Eyes 04:17
Rapid Eyes by Doom Scroll (Tuned to Drop C#) Saturate the rapid eye and suffocate until you die quick Overflow the mental state of trying to alleviate all Settle into the theta state by dragging through dead end weight thoughts Are we ever really asleep Stabbing aimless into The unknowing present time Tally up our blinking Begging for a sedation mind Set the stage we walk on Blinded by the light of thought Cursing all your thinking Asking when it will finally stop Drenching in valerian and steeping all the thoughts into a daze Insomniatic sedatives aren’t holding up against the day dreams Driftless eyes into the night the sun begins to creep through the shades And what’s more we can’t Decipher all the days Spindled by this torment Tucked in sideways Trudge through the haze Shut your eyes and see All the throws infinity Casts upon our tick tock mind we can’t ignore Fall into the sea In figments of what life could be Only to be shackled by this static bed all night Put up a fight, keep your eyes shut and shutoff your mind It won’t be over until you learn to relax (unwind) Darkness slows to other worlds where you control your own death Fixating on the path you take and watching every step The eyelid films enthrall you with a spectacle never seen And endless pathways lead to endless gleams And horrors you could never believe

Castles 03:44
Castles by Doom Scroll Light the match the fire burns violent and true Faces around me all liars and fools The ones who hold the keys are the ones who can break all the rules And every link that is forged for the chain thats unseen Is holding you back forcing you to believe That one day you’ll forget theyre the ones who can take it away if you misbehave Every fire burns forever when their castles come toppling down All defiance fuck compliance we’ll rejoice on the remnants of crowns More than fodder for their dollar were the muscle thats worth more than gold Til our bodies break and our hearts meet the stake we’ll remain We’ll remain Were just teetering On this broken scale that they’ve built To keep you wondering If your free wills beginning to wilt Every withered soul enduring hell Fearing for everything they’ve ever loved Stays locked inside, their little hole Hoping they never see the storm at their door But their greedy hands dig pockets dry And take ever dime nickel penny and lint Their famished mouths starve out and die While the crown feasts on all that they’ve worked to survive All that they’ve worked to survive
